Energy Healing

Energy therapy is a healing modality used throughout all of recorded history. Even today, energy therapies pervade healing traditions throughout the world. Balancing one's energy is, in a few words, a balancing of the sensation of being alive. Balanced energy is the complete experience of being well and whole.

Modern technology allows us to measure energetic disturbances, which we experience sometimes as pain. When a patient experiences non-specific, localized pain, magnetic-resonance imaging (MRI) machines can make images of disturbances in the magnetic resonance within the body. Science has shown that energy therapies can restore balance in these areas, thus re-establishing vitality and well-being throughout the body.

Electro-encephalography (EEG) measures the electrical activity/energy in the brain and again is used to detect disturbances in the electrical activity of the brain. Research has shown that energy therapies can restore balance, symmetry and function to the electrical activity in the brain, thus restoring the brain's regulation of the body as a whole.

Bioenergetic Work

Bioenergetic healing addresses the physical domain of the human body. All cells in the body have both chemical and physical properties. Bioenergetic therapy addresses imbalances in these and other physical properties of the body. Skillful bioenergetic practitioners are capable of detecting imbalances in the electrical, magnetic and other subtle energy processes of the body and reestablishing equilibrium and vitality in all areas of the body, resulting in optimal health.

Reconnective Healing™, as taught by Dr. Eric Pearl, is based on the understanding that there is a connection of energy lines between yourself and the rest of the universe. When these connections are disturbed or lost in the body, well-being and good health can be affected. Reconnective Healing™ facilitates rebalancing and realignment of your body's energy. The science on this healing modality is not yet adequate to support a medical understanding of the healings that have occurred with this process.
